The story of a 12-year-old child battling brain cancer in the nerve center that has filled nearly his entire brain, surpassing 10 years with ECCT without surgery or chemotherapy.

At just 12 years old (September 2012), he was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in the coordination center of his brain known as the basal ganglia. His name is Adnan Krisna Murti.
The tumor pressed against the left mesencephalon, which regulates eye movement and processes visual and auditory signals (MRI, 5/9/12), causing severe headaches and impairing his vision, hearing, and motor skills, making it impossible for him to walk.
There were almost no alternative treatments available: surgery was not an option, and radiation could not be performed to kill the tumor without damaging vital nerves. He had to drop out of school, where he was still in elementary.
His father sought out various alternative treatments for him, including ECCT, which was still in its very early stages of development at the time.
There were not many brain cancer cases treated with ECCT back then, especially severe cases like his in the brain’s nerve center.
Only one prior case with the same cell type had shown remarkable improvement: within 2 months, the patient returned to normal from a state of complete paralysis and inability to awaken. That was the case of Willy Saputra (21 years old), the first brain case to use ECCT, although it was located in the cerebellum. The effects of his condition were likely relatively mild.
Thus, Adnan’s father took the brave step of applying the ECCT device on him.
After using ECCT, Adnan’s condition gradually improved; his vision and hearing returned. He could walk again after three months and started engaging in normal activities and returning to school.
Feeling that he had recovered, he then stopped using the device after about a year. His condition remained relatively normal.
However, a year after stopping the device, in mid-2014, he began experiencing symptoms again, similar to before he used the device. His severe headaches returned, his vision worsened, and he could no longer walk.
An MRI showed that the tumor mass was growing compared to before using the device.
He then resumed using the ECCT device. However, his condition continued to deteriorate; his vision and hearing decreased further, and he remained unable to walk.
MRI results after using the device for another four months showed that the tumor mass continued to grow, measuring more than 10 cm and occupying almost the entire central brain, especially on the left side (MRI, 6/9/14).
Everyone panicked, unsure of what to do. The only option left was to redesign the ECCT device in the form of a helmet. The redesign aimed to focus the electric field on the deepest part of the brain where the tumor mass was located, making it difficult for the waves to reach.
Improvement was felt after using the new device. His condition continued to improve; he began to walk again, and his vision and hearing also improved. However, he still couldn’t see clearly, only being able to distinguish between light and dark. His previously severe headaches nearly disappeared completely.
MRI results six months after using the new device showed significant reduction in the tumor mass, and the obstructed brain fluid (hydrocephalus) also decreased significantly. He continued using the device, fearing that the tumor would grow back as it had previously after he stopped.
The MRI results (3/2/17) indicated that the tumor mass was shrinking, although it had not completely disappeared, leaving scar tissue. This may be why the nerves in his eyes still couldn’t allow him to see.
Ten years after first using the ECCT device, Adnan remains healthy, with no complaints of pain. He still cannot see, but he can read and write messages on WhatsApp using a text-to-voice application.
Adnan received a new device not only for preventing the recurrence of the old tumor but also a new device to train his nerves with the latest electrical wave modulation program.
May Adnan remain healthy, and may he regain his sight one day (WS).
